Content Replication between two OpenKM instances
This video demonstrates how OpenKM Content Replication can be used to automatically synchronize content between two independent OpenKM instances.
In this example, a regional office creates and updates documents within a shared folder. The replication service detects these changes and transfers them to a headquarters OpenKM instance, ensuring that both locations have access to the latest information.
Content Replication is especially useful for organizations with multiple offices, subsidiaries, or geographically distributed teams that need to share specific content while maintaining separate OpenKM installations.
Move Nodes with Drag & Drop
OpenKM introduces a new Destination panel that makes it easy to move documents, folders, records, and emails using Drag & Drop.
Simply select the destination in the side panel and drag a node from the main view to move it quickly and intuitively.
New Case Explorer for Workflows
The new Case Explorer lets you browse all documents and folders associated with a workflow instance without leaving the task form.
Quickly access case-related content, navigate its folder structure, and open the information you need while completing each step of the workflow.
Filter Destination Folders When Copying and Moving
OpenKM introduces a new search field in the destination selection dialog for copy and move operations.
Users can now filter destination folders by name, making it faster and easier to find the right location, even in repositories with a large number of folders.
Text Extraction Details
OpenKM introduces a new Details button in the Extracted Text tab.
If a warning or error occurs during text extraction, simply click the Details button to view the generated information, making it easier to diagnose and troubleshoot extraction issues.
