OpenKM is made available to the community free of charge in its Community distribution model.
In versions 6.3 and earlier, OpenKM Community Edition maintains its open source model under the GPL-2.0 license, meaning the source code remains available to the community and can be freely downloaded from the official GitHub repository.
Starting with OpenKM Community Edition 7.0, a change in the distribution model is introduced: the source code is no longer published, and the application is distributed only as a free binary package, without access to the source code.
For more information about this change, please refer to the official GitHub repository.
