I am new in this OpenKM world. I have just installed it by following the "Quick install guide". It seems went well. When I use Firefox to access "http://localhost:8080/OpenKM/", the login page shows up and I could use admin/admin to login. However, I could not login as any other user.

1. I have added a new user "user01" with password "abc".
2. After logout from admin/admin, I have tried to login as user01/abc. It shows "Authentication Error".
3. I have first tried JAVA 1.6 then switch to 1.5 but still get the same response.

Is there any thing need to do after the "quick installation"?
(BTW, the platform is WindowsXP).

The same thing with me. Cannot login as added user only as admin.

I have the same problem, too.

Have you assigned the UserRole grant to this user ? It's mandatory, is the grant to connect to openkm.

I thought I had, but I hadn't. I pressed the update button, and not the "add" button. Thanks a lot.

It works. I did make the same mistake --> assign the role but did not click the "add".

user01/abc can login without issue now. Thanks a lot.
